Dr. Ken has always had a desire to help people.  He met his mentor, Dr. Ronald Dahl D.C., in high school and Dr. Dahl inspired him to consider alternative forms of medicine.  By early college, his passion for healing became an obsession.

While studying Kinesiology at Colorado University at Boulder, Dr. Ken had the opportunity to study abroad in Japan under the private tutelage of Dr. Shan-Chi Ko M.D., the formulator and developer of Enrac’s Collateral Meridian Therapy(CMT).  Dr. Ken also offers this emerging form of acupressure to his patients today.

At Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Ken immersed himself in campus life, teaching technique clubs, tutoring and mentoring underclassmen, and involving himself in several campus organizations.  He was honored to receive the Peggy Sherman Leadership Scholarship in 2006 and the Dr. George Goodheart Jr Scholarship in 2007.  Dr. Ken completed his clinical internship with Dr. Bloink D.C., founder of the California Cranial Institute and specialist in Cranial-Dental Integration.

Dr. Ken was the first student to be published in the ICAK Annual Proceedings.  He was subsequently invited to also become the first student to present his paper at the ICAK's International Conference in Detroit, MI.
